Welcome To UpNext Learning.
Founded by Kate Hill in Brooklyn, NY, we are a specialized, remote-focused learning specialist and educational therapy practice providing cognitive function intervention services for individuals with ADHD, ASD, NVLD, mental health diagnoses, specific learning disabilities, dyslexia, and complex medical diagnoses affecting executive functioning. We work one-on-one with adults, kids, and families locally in New York City and across the country. Our practitioners have diverse backgrounds and extensive experience in individualized learning support. Practice members are trained in and use methods including Hochman/The Writing Revolution, SRSD, Orton-Gillingham structured literacy, and others to provide high-quality, systematic support to clients.
Our approach serves clients in aged ten through adult who are comfortable with remote meetings, sometimes following an initial in-person meeting for New York City clients. Many of our clients are in college, graduate school, or are adult professionals. Most of our clients have been diagnosed with ADHD, specific learning disabilities, and/or dyslexia. Practice members are experienced at collaborating with psychotherapists and other third-party providers in support of clients with anxiety, OCD, and other mental health diagnoses. We work with clients, families, and schools to develop comprehensive, systematic approaches to supporting autonomy, independence, confidence, and enjoyment of learning.
Kate additionally offers parent coaching and professional development consulting, has written for publications including The New York Times, has spoken to many corporate and parent groups, and enjoys connecting with families and professionals in support of the academic and socio-emotional development of neurodiverse kids and adults.
