KATHARINE HILL, MS, MAT, ET/P - FOUNDER
I’m an innovative learning specialist, educational therapist, and parent educator who works with children and adults in developing executive functioning skills, understanding their own learning processes, and developing strategies to support success. My private practice, UpNext Learning, serves children, families, and institutional clients. I use an educational therapy lens in order to support the whole person, including academic and socio-emotional needs, and have been accredited as an Educational Therapist, Professional (ET/P) through the Association of Educational Therapists. (Please note, educational therapy is not psychotherapy or counseling; the focus is on the client’s academic outcomes at a holistic level.) I have over 20 years of experience as a learning specialist, classroom teacher, and university administrator. Among others, I am trained in and use the Hochman Method, SRSD, and Orton-Gillingham approaches in my work.
