Faculty Professional Development

Faculty training on executive functioning and supporting students with learning challenges, including twice-exceptional students and those with diagnosed learning disabilities. Professional development programs engage faculty in active learning during which they connect new information to their existing knowledge and experience, apply new learning to their current teaching responsibilities, and make a plan to assess their implementation of new skills and understandings during the current school year.

Curriculum or program redesign that integrates evidence-based practices for executive functioning, socio-emotional development, and critical reading and writing skills across the current divisional or departmental curricula.

Learning Support Department Curriculum Development

Learning skills or learning support department curriculum development, focusing on increasing the use of evidence-based practices to create a systematic, highly effective program to support student learning and socio-emotional growth.
