EDUCATIONAL THERAPY & ACADEMIC SUPPORT

I work with students in grades 4-12 on the following topics. I also work with college students and adult clients. My goal-oriented approach focuses on developing the underlying skills students need for independence and academic growth.

  • reading fluency and comprehension

  • writing, with a focus on executive function and the writing process

  • executive function coaching

  • organization and study skills

As an educational therapist and learning specialist, I use a variety of evidence-based strategies that promote positive metacognition and self-regulation skills. I work with all school subjects through 6th grade. With students in grades 7-12, and with higher-education and adult clients, my approach focuses on writing, executive function, and organization across disciplines.

INDIVIDUAL CONSULTATIONS

I offer one-on-one consultations with parents on:

  • remote learning

  • supporting students with learning disabilities

  • executive function needs and attentional issues

  • building positive family habits

  • anticipatory parenting strategies

At this time, all consultations are by phone or online. Please contact me to book sessions. Consultations fall under the umbrella of my private practice as a learning specialist and parent educator, and are fully confidential. 

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR EDUCATORS

I have extensive experience presenting professional development workshops to educators in K-12 and higher education settings. The topics I most frequently present include:
